Time: 9:15 am
Flowing from Sacred Scripture as well as the Church’s living Tradition, Catholics believe in the sacred continuum of life: life that is sacred, social and eternal. How can we, as individuals, approach death and prepare for it in a way that is wise, hopefilled, prayerful and healthy? Understanding that death is a moment of grace when we are touched by the hand of God, Holy Spirit Catholic Church is pleased to offer a Now and at the Hour of Our Death Seminar on Saturday, November 2nd, 9:15AM- 2:30PM, in McDonough Hall. We will discuss various ways in which we can spiritually and practically prepare for our own death or the death of a family member, including information about Catholic advance directives, estate planning, insurance, planning a Funeral Liturgy and Catholic burial options. The workshop is free and open to the general public. Light refreshments and boxed lunch will be provided. Please pre-register by October 30th by contacting the parish at (404) 252-4513 or www.hsccatl.com.
